iFarm was founded in Novosibirsk, Russia. We build fully automated farms to grow fresh vegetables and berries right in big cities with the help of innovative technologies.
We create a closed microclimate in vertical farms. We provide vegetables with electricity and water with necessary elements to make them grow to the fullest.
All our stands are equipped with computers. They allow us to monitor the quality of liquids, humidity levels, and other indicators. The main benefit of our technology is that we can know up to a gram how much harvest the stand will give us. The harvest is all year round and not dependent on external factors. I represent the Moscow office. In this city, we build a second laboratory now. Also, we build a farm in Finland and have plans to build in Europe, the USA, and China.
How did you start using GanttPRO?
When I had been learning project management, I had realized that a Gantt chart significantly helps in management and construction management in particular. With this tool, you can actively update dates, statuses, control a great number of tasks, create dependencies, and many more.
Before that, I used Excel but I am not going to tell about it as many managers start their practice with this tool. No doubt, Excel was not developed for creating Gantt charts: even if one date moves, you have to manually move everything.
I have tried Trello.
Also, I have tried task managers such as Any.do and alike that help work with personal tasks.
Some team members even use Bitrix. They track their tasks in it and I am just like an observer: I can edit or add something. But I do my best not to work in it as it is absolutely inconvenient for me.
I have also worked in JIRA. That was the tool I liked although it offers too many features and looks cumbersome. I understand that it works just fine for IT products: when we had one, my experience was positive.
But now I use GanttPRO only.
