“The product fulfills its job when I could build the Gantt chart in 10-20 minutes without wanting to break my laptop, and every time I share it internally with my colleagues, there is ‘how have you done this because it's very cool’.”

Summary
Company Background
What does your company focus on?
ViaSay is a development company focused on building AI agents for customer support platforms. Each project is a lightweight software solution, typically delivered within an 8-week cycle.
Gary Jehan, Chief Operating Officer, shares how GanttPRO helps the team manage and present these fast-paced client-facing initiatives with ease.
I tried Notion, I tried Excel, I tried everything. And I said okay, we are in 2025, there should be a single focus software. I found GanttPRO through Google search and trial worked for me well, that’s how it started.
Struggle
How did your approach look before GanttPRO?
Gary had previous experience working with Gantt-based software and all options he used seemed good for simple planning but lacking functionality for more complex work.
“We used to work a lot with Gantt. I cannot remember the name of the software, but it was a typical engineering software that we use in big companies. And it was horrible to use. I tried to build a Gantt chart in Notion, but it required too much effort to use effectively. Even though I love Notion, I think it's good for very simple planning. But when work becomes complex, Notion is not the best.”

Solution
“What I liked the most about GanttPRO, and what I struggled to find in other products, was ease of use. The product fulfills its job when I could build the Gantt chart in 10-20 minutes without wanting to break my laptop, and every time I share it internally with my colleagues, there is ‘how have you done this because it's very cool’.”
For ViaSay another important aspect was accessibility – each team member can review, update, and work with the project independently. As ViaSay’s work is built around working with a client, constant updating is their part of the approach. That’s where a Shared private link feature comes in hand: “For us, it’s the fact that we can share a public link so that my client can see the updates. As we have frequent meetings during the build phase, I don't have to take a screenshot and send it to them each time about the deadline or any step update.”
