Allocate your resources efficiently

The workload window shows all of your resources’ availability, right below your Gantt chart timeline. Thanks to it, you will see how many tasks or working hours a resource has each day. With the drag&drop simplicity, it’s a matter of seconds to redistribute tasks.
With the workload, you:
  • Manage your resources’ availability, in hours or tasks.
  • Get quick access to task settings.
  • Redistribute tasks with drag&drop.
  • Set personal calendars.

How to work with resource workload

  • 1. Invite project members or create virtual resources

    Invite members to your project by email or create virtual resources.

  • 2. Choose a working time unit

    In GanttPRO, you can set values per hour for labor resources, per item for material resources, and fixed cost. Note that only labor resources are shown in the workload window.

  • 3. Set cost

    Enter the cost for each of your resources.

  • 4. Assign resources to tasks

    Assign one or multiple resources to your tasks.

  • 5. Manage resources

    In the resource workload window, you get access to your resources from the current or all active projects. Here, you can manage their calendars, switch between workload in hours or tasks, and with the drag&drop, redistribute assignments.
