GanttPRO Data Security and Privacy Statement

This security and privacy statement describes how we treat your personal information and data when you use GanttPRO integration for JIRA Software.

Data storage and facilities

For JIRA related data GanttPRO uses PostgreSQL instances, hosted at Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure with servers located in Western Europe.

GanttPRO has it’s own virtual private network at Microsoft Azure Cloud, so even Microsoft can’t access the data and dataflows.

All sensitive data are encrypted. The whole database isn’t encrypted for access speed reasons, but it is protected with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) inside private network (access filtered by IP and other factors that can’t be listed here for security reasons).

To prevent your information from being read or changed while in transit and provide the strongest privacy and integrity protection the developers use Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS).

Stored JIRA data

All the information that is two-way synchronized between apps is stored on GanttPRO servers.
All other data have no connections with GanttPRO servers and are subject to Atlassian Policy.

People and access

Only GanttPRO developers or support engineers as well as monitoring teams have access to the platform hosting our cloud software. They do it only to monitor performance as well as for maintenance and support reasons. GanttPRO team can also have access to the cloud platform upon customer’s support requests.

To ensure utmost security we can additionally protect our customers signing a nondisclosure agreement.

Backups

We make backups every day (21:00 UTC). Database Servers also have real-time replications.

Privacy

GanttPRO understands the importance of ensuring the privacy of your personal information. We take it very seriously. For more information, please, see our Privacy Statement.

No liability for lost data

GanttPRO shall not be liable for any loss, removal or deletion of User Data (pictures and other images, document or data files, information relating to natural and other persons, messages, email and other communications, files, texts, opinions, feedback, suggestions, ideas, personalization settings and other information related to charts) as well as any failure of delivery to the intended recipient of User Data, whether caused by computer virus, unauthorized access or otherwise. For that reason make sure to retain a backup copy of all uploaded User Data.

GanttPRO can limit or deny access to the site and delete User Data at any time without notice.
